About Samantha Reber
Licensed Teacher and Podcast Lover
I have taught almost every age group from babies to teenagers. I have always loved seeing the “Aha” moment with my students as the light bulb goes off in their minds. I have a B.A. in Special Education with a minor in Music and a M. Ed. in Early Childhood Education. I started my teaching career as a marching band paraprofessional working at the high school level. In college I was an intern at a children's clinic working with children ages 1-3 who had special needs. I have worked in middle and high schools as a special education teacher. Through my young mothering years I worked in early childhood settings in community centers. Currently I am a substitute teacher working mainly in the elementary grades. Kindergarten is one of my favorites.
I'm the mom of 2 daughters who love to create in their own ways. I'm also wife to an art teacher and Star Wars lover. I will forever be a Girl Scout and you will find me selling cookies every February in front of grocery stores with my troop. I’m an avid podcast listener. I love learning and can’t pass up a good podcast on human interest stories, history, science, economy, and religion.
